Hippos have huge mouths and rounded bodies, and they spend much of their day in water. Gray and purple-gray tones look good, with blue water to finish the scene.

About Hippopotamus Coloring Pages
This collection has 36 free printable hippopotamus coloring pages for kids and adults. Hippos are huge, semi-aquatic mammals from Africa that spend most of the day cooling off in rivers and lakes. Their skin secretes a reddish oily fluid that works like sunscreen, and they come onto land at night to graze.
